SUSPENSION OF TRADING

At the request of SMIT Holdings Limited (the “ Company ”), trading in the securities of the Company on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited has been suspended with effect from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 5 December 2016 pending the release of an announcement pursuant to the Code on Takeovers and Mergers, which is inside information in nature.
