Change of CFO

Oslo, 20 November 2023

SmartOptics Group AS (the "Company") announces today that its current CFO,

Mikael Haag, resigns from his position with the Company for other opportunities.

Mikael Haag is expected to remain in his position until a new CFO is in place,

and the Company will make an announcement of the new CFO as soon as one has been

appointed

Magnus Grenfeldt, CEO of the Company comments:

"I wish to thank Mikael for his dedication and service to the Company over the

last years, a period in which we have seen substantial growth in our business

and also become a publicly listed company. Mikael has been an integral part of

this, and I wish him all the best going forward."

As part of the termination of employment, the Company will re-purchase the

employee options held by Mikael Haag and a separate announcement will be made in

this respect.
