Car Parking Technologies Ltd (ASX:CPZ) ( Company ) is pleased to advise that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of major retail car park operator, Town & City Parking UK Limited ( Town & City ).
Formed in 1993, Town and City is one of the largest and fastest growing car parking management companies in the UK. It operates over 1,000 sites across the UK in all sectors of the economy and is the UK market leader in retail car park management.
The Company views the potential synergies with its existing business as significant. In the short term, it looks forward to enhancing the business of Town & City by way of the roll-out its car park technology products to Town & City operated car parks across the UK.
TCP Appointments
Following the acquisition of Town & City, the Company has appointed Mr Charlie Leaper as chief operating officer of Town & City.
Mr Leaper has significant experience in the management and integration of corporate acquisitions in his role as a senior acquisitions project manager for Computershare UK.
The Company has also appointed Mr Derek Marchant as chief financial officer of Town & City. Mr Marchant is a chartered accountant with over 14 years experience in operational and financial roles
