Smart Parking Limited (ASX:SPZ) receives contract award notice from the City of Moonee Valley

Highlights

• Smart Parking receives contract award notice from the City of Moonee Valley to provide a comprehensive Smart City solution

(‘Smart Parking’ or ‘the Company’) Directly following yesterday’s announcement of a letter of intent for the City of Adelaide, Smart Parking is pleased to announce it has secured a contract award notice from the City of Moonee Valley in Melbourne, Victoria.

A local government area located within Melbourne, Moonee Valley has started working towards becoming a more sustainable and smart city. With the installation of 1,500 sensors to help the City monitor and manage its parking facilities, Smart Parking is looking forward to helping them on their Smart City journey whilst reinventing the parking experience in Moonee Valley.

The inclusion of a public WiFi service by utilising Smart Parking’s SmartCloud communication infrastructure means the City can help create new opportunities for community engagement and collaboration.

Under the contract, Smart Parking will also provide maintenance services for a period of 3 years, with ongoing renewal periods or 4 years and an option to extend a further 4 years.
