Appointment of CEO

Car Parking Technologies Ltd (ASX:CPZ) ( Company ) is pleased to advise of the appointment of Mr Paul Gillespie as its new Chief Executive Officer. As reported in the Company’s Annual Report, Mr Chris Morris remains acting CEO of Town & City Parking Ltd with both Mr Gillespie and Mr Morris reporting directly to the Board.

Mr Gillespie was most recently General Manager of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc’s (NYSE:ACS) UK parking business. Prior to that, Mr Gillespie was the UK Sales Manager for that business. Mr Gillespie brings with him significant management capability and a broad experience in sales and marketing which will benefit the Company in its current state of development.

Mr Gillespie shall assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and join the Board of Directors from 7 January 2013. In the interim, Mr Chris Morris shall assume the role of CEO.

The Board would like to thank Mr Paul Collins, the Company’s outgoing CEO, for his significant contribution to the Company. Mr Collins was a founder of Meter Eye Ltd which was the initial developer of the Company’s suite of car parking technologies. Mr Collins shall remain employed within the business with a focus on research and development.

Mr Gillespie will be based in Melbourne and details of his appointment are set out below:

Commencement:	7 January 2013
Salary:	Total Remuneration Package of $240,000, comprisingbase salary, bonus and long term incentivecomponent
Notice:	4 weeks
