Money3 appoints Symon Brewis-Weston as Independent Non-Executive Director

Money3 Corporation Limited (ASX: MNY) is delighted to announce that following the completion of the AGM on the 27th November 2018, Mr Symon Brewis-Weston will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director and become a member of the Audit Committee and the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

Prior to joining the Board of Money3, Mr Brewis-Weston was the CEO of a top 200 ASX-listed company FlexiGroup Limited and before that CEO of Sovereign Assurance Limited, NZ – NZ’s largest Life and Health Insurance Company.

Commenting on his appointment Mr Brewis-Weston said: “I am delighted to be joining Money3’s Board and look forward to contributing towards its continued growth and success. I believe I can contribute both to the business itself and to the efficient and disciplined function of the board.”

Prior to joining FlexiGroup Limited in 2016, Mr Brewis-Weston was Chief Executive Officer of Sovereign, New Zealand’s largest life insurance provider (a fully owned subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank). He has also held several senior leadership positions with Commonwealth Bank Australia over 15 years, including Executive General Manager of Corporate Financial Services, Executive General Manager for Local Business Banking, six years leading CBA’s Indonesian operations, and in China where he worked on developing the Group’s Chinese banking strategy.

Brewis-Weston received the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles CEO Leadership Award in 2015 for his commitment to workplace diversity and community engagement.

He holds a degree in Economics (Hons) and a Master of Applied Finance.
