Berlin, 08.01.2013 – bmp media investors AG (ISIN DE0003304200) sold its 34.4% stake in newtron AG , Dresden, as part of a majority takeover by Liechtensteinische Post Beteiligungs AG. bmp media investors received a seven-figure profit from the sale ; the transaction contributed to positive mid-six-figure earnings in the 4 th quarter of 2012 . bmp media investors' portfolio, of which newtron AG was a part, is no longer one if its core investments.
With the sale, bmp media investors continues to focus on fast-growing and profit-promising investments in the area of media and marketing services. bmp had a stake in the eProcurement software company since 1999.
'We are pleased to have found in the Liechtenstein Post a buyer who, together with its existing majority stake in business process outsourcing (BPO) service provider DIG AG, can develop newtron into a European market leader in eProcurement', stated Oliver Borrmann, member of the Executive Board of bmp media investors AG.
