In the scope of a financing round totaling 3.15 million EUR, bmp acquired a
10% stake in the Brand New World GmbH (www.brandnewworld.de). Along with
bmp, the KfW, Creathor Venture, T.i.B.i., Mountain Partners, and the
Business Angels Sylvius Bardt, Dr. Joachim Bernecker, and Andreas Ritter
participated in the financing round.

Brand New World is a leading provider in the interactive mobile gaming
sector. The company develops, markets, and promotes innovative mobile
applications in the entertainment, multiplayer, and casual gaming sectors.
The applications are marketed under their own B2C brand as well as via
partners such as mobile radio vendors, content aggregators, and TV
broadcasters. Brand New World generates its own clientele base primarily
through direct response TV advertising and cooperation with broadcasters.

In the scope of TV cooperations, TV viewers become customers for
interactive gaming offers. In this way, the customer value for the TV
stations is increased through intelligent Audience Relationship Management.
On the basis of the product partnerships established through Brand New
World and the cross selling activities implemented, the broadcasters
generate additional sales independent of advertising.

The assets from the financing rounds for the very dynamically growing
company are used in the planned diversification of business operations and
internationalization, which has already had a successful start.

Jens Spyrka, the signing partner responsible for this transaction with bmp,
sees the guarantee for the success of the investment especially in the
experienced founding team and the well-cultivated cooperative relationships
with TV broadcasters such as Pro7/Sat1 and RTL 2. Along with the successful
marketing of its own content offerings, Brand New World wants to play a
major role in the interaction between media and product vendors in
particular. By addressing TV viewers in suitable emotional environments
with products designed to fit their needs, Brand New World is offering a
substantial added value for all of the investors.
