bmp AG: ‘First Closing’ at Revotar Financing Round

The bmp AG (ISIN DE0003304200) notifies that its shareholding of Revotar
Biopharmaceuticals AG successfully concluded within the current financing
round about in total 10-15 million EUR a 'first closing' of 2.88 million
EUR. Besides the lead investor in the first closing, Millhouse Private
Equity Trust, Sydney, also the MVC Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft
mbH, the Deutsche Life Science GmbH and the bmp AG attended the round.
bmp's shareholding of the company amounts to presently 44.1 % after
implementation of the financing round.
The resources made available within the financing serve to a further
clinical development of the core product of 'Bimosiamose' and to the
construction and extension of the innovative development pipeline of
Revotar.
Mr. Oliver Borrmann, Executive Chairman of the bmp AG: 'The successful
conclusion of the first closing ensures the financing of the Revotar until
early summer of 2008 and allows a further pushing of the current
development projects. This is a good basis for the implementation of the
final closing of the financing round by the end of the year'.
