Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— AD HOC MELDUNG Berlin, den 04.04.2000 bmp AG: die polnische Softbank-Gruppe steigt bei der bmp-Beteiligung IDS Internet Data Systems, Warschau ein. Für den polnischen Internet Service Provider IDS wurde die Softbank-Gruppe als Co-Investor gewonnen. Die bmp AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT hat einen Teil ihrer Anteile gewinnbringend veräußert und wird nach Abschluß der Transaktion noch 10,74% an IDS halten. Neben einer Kapitalbeteiligung wurde eine enges Kooperationsabkommen zwischen beiden Unternehmen vereinbart. Vorbehaltlich der Zustimmung durch die polnische Antimonopolbehörde soll die Beteiligung der Softbank-Gruppe stufenweise im Wege der Kapitalerhöhung auf bis zu 56% ausgeweitet werden. Die dem Unternehmen zufließenden Mittel sollen der weiteren Entwicklung des Geschäftes dienen. Die Softbank-Gruppe ist eines der größten börsennotierten IT-Unternehmen Polens und hat ca. 40% des polnischen ISP-Marktes über Beteiligungen miteinander vernetzt. Für den raschen Ausbau der IDS als einen der führenden Internet Service Provider in Polen ist der Einstieg der Softbank-Gruppe ein wichtiger Meilenstein. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Polish anti-monopoly office, the participation of Softbank Group is progressively to be extended to up to 56% by means of capital increase. The funds made available are to be used for the further development of IDS business. Softbank Group is one of the largest listed IT enterprises in Poland and has connected approx. 40% of the Polish ISP market via participations. The investment of Softbank Group is a milestone for the rapid expansion of IDS as one of the leading ISPs in Poland. At the same time the market position of bmp in Poland is further strengthened.
