bmp Holding AG raises its stake in subsidiary sleepz GmbH

Acquisition of further shares via capital increase and buyout of two shareholders
bmp share rises from 60.08% to 66.20%

Berlin, 12 April 2016 – bmp Holding AG (ISIN DE0003304200), an e-commerce group in the segment of sleep products (bedding, bedroom furniture, mattresses, etc.), has increased its stake in its subsidiary sleepz GmbH as part of a small capital increase. bmp now holds 66.20% compared to the previous 60.08% in sleepz GmbH. For this purpose, bmp converted existing loans and made an additional cash contribution. In addition, bmp acquired the shares of two smaller shareholders, which reduced the number of sleepz shareholders to five.

With online stores such as perfekt-schlafen.de and matratzendiscount.de, sleepz GmbH is one of the leading full-range providers in the segment of sleep products (beds, mattresses, bedding, bedroom furniture) in Germany and also has a showroom near Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin.

Furthermore, in March bmp sold its venture stake in Motor Entertainment GmbH at current book value to the founding shareholders.
