bmp AG: bmp sells Hirek Kft. shares

The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. —————————————————————————— bmp AG: bmp sells Hirek Kft. shares bmp AG and parallel investor CEEV GmbH have sold their stake in Budapest-based Hirek Media Kft., which they acquired in April 2001, for EUR 350,000. As planned, bmp AG is now focusing its activities in Central and Eastern Europe on Poland, where bmp AG has been active with its own local team since 1999 and has been listed since 2004. Seven projects have been financed to date in Poland. Together with CEEV, bmp AG holds shares in the profitable and fast-growing companies Bankier S.A. and K2 Internet S.A. Following this sale, bmp AG continues to hold participating interests in 20 companies in the active portfolio, of which 15 were operating profitably in the 4th quarter of 2004. bmp is planning further exits and investments for the current financial year.
