Ad hoc announcement §15 WpHG Results bmp AG:Provisional half-year results 2005 Ad hoc announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Berlin, 2 August 2005 bmp closed the first half of 2005 with turnover of EUR 347,000 and total operating performance of EUR 2,740,000. EBIT totalled EUR 799,000 and consolidated profits amounted to EUR 625,000. The results were affected to a considerable extent by IFRS value adjustments on two of bmp AG’s holdings, which, as a result of their positive development, were valued at the current NAV less a risk discount of 50% respectively. Marketable securities and equivalent means of payment amounted to EUR 7.8 million as at 30 June 2005 (previous year: EUR 2.41 million). Net asset value (NAV) increased from EUR 1.79/share to EUR 1.96/share compared with the previous year. For the financial year 2005 as a whole, the Management Board is anticipating a further improvement in results.
