SKYWORLD DEVELOPMENT'S UNBILLED SALES MORE THAN DOUBLE TO RM1.1 BILLION
Robust project take-up and successful Penang expansion solidify earnings visibility
KUALA LUMPUR, 26 May 2026 – SkyWorld Development Berhad ("SkyWorld Development" or the "Company"), an urban property developer principally involved in investment holding, provision of management services to its subsidiaries and property development, today announced its financial results for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2026 ("Q4FYE2026").
For the quarter under review, SkyWorld Development's revenue expanded 15.5% year-on-year ("YoY") to RM132.2 million from RM114.5 million in the corresponding quarter last year. This topline growth was driven by sustained progress across its six active developments, further lifted by increased contributions from Curvo Residences as it advanced into its completion and handover phase. Gross profit for the quarter stood at RM45.8 million, while profit after tax and minority interests ("PATAMI") came in at RM5.8 million.
For FYE2026, SkyWorld Development accumulated a total revenue of RM430.5 million, yielding a gross profit of RM148.2 million and PATAMI of RM30.0 million.
Highlighting the strong market reception of its recent project rollouts, the Company achieved total sales of RM1.0 billion during the financial year boosting the unbilled sales more than doubled year-on-year to RM1.1 billion as at 31 March 2026, up from RM0.5 billion in the preceding year. This significant sales accumulation underscores the Company's strategic expansion into Penang, successfully replicating its core product offerings outside the Klang Valley area to secure long-term earnings visibility.
SkyWorld Development continues to maintain a highly resilient balance sheet, holding a strong cash position of over RM300 million. With a comfortable net gearing ratio of 0.3 times, the Group retains ample financial flexibility to fund and accelerate its project pipeline while maintaining strict capital discipline.

Our entry into Penang is a clear game-changer for us. Coupled with our proven product quality and strong execution capabilities, the continued growth in unbilled sales reflects the market’s confidence in our developments. Since our listing, we have successfully rolled out projects worth a cumulative GDV of RM2.8 billion and we target an estimated launch pipeline exceeding RM2.0 billion across Malaysia and Vietnam, keeping us firmly on track towards our post-IPO target of RM4.6 billion in cumulative launches by end CY2026. We will approach our footprint expansion prudently by conducting thorough comprehensive market and regulatory assessments. This strategic diligence ensures we can effectively navigate ongoing geopolitical uncertainties, diversify our portfolio as a scalable urban developer, and ultimately safeguard our margins over the longer term.”
