STOKES ACQUIRES AUDIO VISUAL AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS PRODUCTS BUSINESS

24 August 2015; Melbourne: Stokes Limited (ASX:SKS) is pleased to advise it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire an audio visual and telecommunications product business as part of the companies rapid expansion and growth strategy in this sector.

The business being acquired has been trading for over 29 years, has revenues of approximately $1.5 million and is currently at break even. The purchase price will be approximately $330,000 and is inclusive of stock.

The business will give Stokes access to a broader products range and additional customer base that will then be expanded utilizing the additional resources of the company.

Linked to the recent significant restructure of the company via the sale of its appliance parts division Stokes now employs 31 staff with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth and offers a comprehensive range of products and solutions aimed at the growing commercial and industrial sector.
