UPDATE ON SHAREHOLDING OF THE COMPANY

Reference is made to the announcement of Universe International Financial Holdings Limited (“ Company ”) dated 5 October 2016 (“ Announcement ”) in relation to the results of the Rights Issue. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

As disclosed in the Announcement, based on the then information available to the Company, in particular, the disclosure of interest notices (“ DI Notices ”, each a “ DI Notice ”) filed by the relevant persons prior to the publication of the Announcement, the single largest shareholder of the Company was Unique Prosperity Limited, which was interested (within the meaning of the SFO) in 150,000,000 Shares, representing approximately 28.13% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The Company wishes to announce that an updated DI Notice was filed by Unique Prosperity Limited on 11 October 2016. According to such updated DI Notice, Unique Prosperity Limited was, on 5 October 2016, interested in 143,573,276 Shares, representing approximately 26.92% of the issued share capital of the Company.
