COMPLETION OF PLACING OF SHARES BY CONTROLLING SHAREHOLDER

This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Listing Rules and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571 of the laws of Hong Kong).

Reference is made to the announcement issued by Universe International Holdings Limited (“ Company ”) dated 3 October 2013. Terms defined in such announcement shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless the context requires otherwise.

The Company was informed by Globalcrest, the controlling shareholder of the Company, that an aggregate of 500,000,000 Shares representing approximately 29.19% of the total issued share capital of the Company as at the date of this announcement, had been placed by Kingston Securities Limited on 4 October 2013.
