Sims Limited Announces the Retirement of Deborah O’Toole as an Independent, Non-Executive Director of the Company
Sims Limited (“Sims” or the “Company”) announced the retirement of Deborah O’Toole as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from today. Ms O’Toole joined the Sims Board of Directors in November 2014 and played a pivotal role in strengthening the Company’s financial oversight during her tenure as Chair of the Audit Committee, a position held since 2019. The Board thanks Ms O’Toole for her dedication, integrity and sage counsel over the past 11 years and wishes her the very best for her future endeavors. To ensure a seamless transition, Mr Dempsey, who joined the Board in April 2024, will assume the role of Chair of the Audit Committee. The Board is confident that Mr Dempsey’s expertise will continue to uphold its strong governance and financial stewardship of the Company.
