On behalf of the Board of Sims Limited (ASX:SGM), I am pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Gorman as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 15 June 2020. Mr Gorman’s appointment follows a 30 year career in executive positions at Ford Motor Company and Brambles Ltd. Prior to Brambles, Mr Gorman held a number of senior executive positions over a 21 year career at Ford Motor Company, culminating in President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Australia from 2004 to 2008. He is a director of two ASX-listed companies, Worley Ltd and Orora Ltd.
