SCHEME IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT WITH SR RESIDENTIAL – SATISFACTION OF BANK CONDITION

Melbourne, 6 September 2016: Simonds Group Ltd (“Company”) (ASX: SIO) advises that, pursuant to the condition set out in Clause 5.6 of the Scheme Implementation Agreement requiring the Company’s financier (“Bank”) to confirm that it will continue to make the existing banking facility available to the Company after implementation of the proposed Scheme of Arrangement with SR Residential Pty Ltd, the Bank has provided this confirmation and SR Residential Pty Ltd has confirmed this condition has been satisfied.
