Kirn, Germany. The Supervisory Board of SIMONA AG has extended the contract of CFO Fredy Hiltmann (60) until the end of 2018 AGM, which is scheduled to take place in June. Thus, Mr. Hiltmann, who had originally planned to leave the Management Board effective from 31 December 2016, will remain with SIMONA AG in a position of responsibility for an additional term of almost two years. This will safeguard continuity in corporate governance and ensure the continuation of a highly successful working relationship.

Mr. Hiltmann will continue to direct the areas of Finance, Controlling, Taxation, Purchasing, IT and Organisation as well as Quality Management. Additionally, he is responsible for the Indian market, where SIMONA established its own subsidiary in 2016.

Mr. Hiltmann has been a member of the Management Board of SIMONA AG since 1 December 2012. He holds Swiss citizenship. Following vocational training in a business discipline, he went on to complete a degree course in Business Administration and Economics ( Betriebsökonom HWV ). Prior to joining the Management Board of SIMONA AG, Mr. Hiltmann held management positions at a number of global companies (e.g. Georg Fischer AG, Metalor Group).
