December Business Update

Sydney, 21 December 2022: Sustainability Solutions Company Simble Solutions Limited (ASX:SIS) (‘Simble’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce it has secured several new customers and partnerships with leading industry participants, providing further validation of Simble’s technology and evidence of the growing demand for energy reduction and monitoring solutions.

Highlights

Simble has entered into new customer agreements with:

• Leading smart meter network company, Intellihub Australia Pty Ltd ( Intellihub ) to offer a white labelled version of the SimbleSense energy management platform to its customers on a per meter subscription basis. Intellihub manages over 1 million smart meters across Australia and NZ;

• Global investor, developer and manager of public infrastructure Plenary Group ( Plenary ) to implement the CarbonView sustainability and carbon reporting platform across its assets; and

• Engineering firm, Frazer Walker to implement the CarbonView sustainability and carbon reporting platform.

The Company has also entered agreements with two leading carbon offset partners:

• Leading Australian carbon offset platform BetaCarbon who will promote CarbonView as BetaCarbon’s preferred carbon measurement platform to Australian retailers and brands; and

• Leading Berlin-based carbon offset platform CEEZER who will promote CarbonView alongside their carbon offset platform to their global clients .

These agreements continue the recent strong, global momentum for the Company’s sustainability focused solutions.

These CarbonView and SimbleSense customer agreements provide the potential for a significant increase in ARR (Annual recurring revenues) over the next 24 months, linked to the rollout of the SimbleSense platform to Intellihub’s customers. The minimum committed ARR of the above contracts is $70K.

Intellihub

Intellihub is Australia and New Zealand’s leading smart utility infrastructure provider, offering customers smart metering and data services to the energy and utilities sector, embedded networks and connecting customers.

The Company’s partnership with Intellihub is for an initial two-year period and is centred around providing Intellihub and its customers access to a white-label version of the SimbleSense software platform. This agreement was secured following a successful 1 month trial of the platform with a select number of customers and related smart meters.

The Company’s software will enable Intellihub customers to use half hourly electricity meter data to monitor their energy usage, identify trends and potential savings opportunities, and to assist in measurement and verification of energy efficiency projects.

Intellihub has a large customer base and manages over 1 million smart meters. As such, its customers are ideal end customers for Simble’s product suite and in time Simble hopes to become the default energy management software platform for Intellihub’s smart meter clients.

Plenary Group

Plenary is a long term investor, developer and manager of major public infrastructure assets, including the Sydney Metro, Gold Coast Light Rail and new Footscray Hospital project.

CarbonView will be deployed at Plenary to measure the group’s carbon footprint, including all direct and in-direct impacts. This will enable the provision of accurate and auditable financed emissions from the various investment projects and allow reporting to multiple standards, such as ISSB, SASB, TCFD, GRI.

BetaCarbon

The Company has signed a strategic partnership agreement with carbon offset platform BetaCarbon.

CEEZER and Simble will act as cross referral partners, on a non-exclusive basis, in the European and Global markets, and in time may work towards deeper integration into each other’s platforms.

Summary

These agreements build on the recent momentum and success in the UK, including recent wins for Sylvania’s SylSmart solution at one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains with an initial rollout of 20 stores, with growth potential to over 700 stores. Further wins include a rollout at one of the UK’s leading universities starting with 5 sites and the potential to rollout to over 100 sites as well a UK NHS Hospital and a shopping centre in Brussels, Belgium.
