BOARD CHANGE
Silver Mines Limited (ASX: SVL) ( Silver Mines or Company ) advises that Non-Executive Director, Mr Peter Langworthy, has resigned from the board.
Mr Langworthy’s resignation follows his decision to step down from all public company positions to allow him to focus on his private business interests and spend more time with his family. As part of this, he has also resigned as Executive Chairman of Gateway Mining Limited (ASX: GML).
Mr Langworthy will remain as Chairman of his private consultancy business, and he will continue to be a shareholder in Silver Mines.
Silver Mines will not be replacing Mr Langworthy’s role as non-executive director at this time.
Silver Mines Managing Director Anthony McClure said: “I would like to acknowledge the enormous contribution that Peter has made to Silver Mines. On behalf of the board and shareholders of Silver Mines, I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his outstanding contribution.”
