BOARD CHANGES
Silver Mines Limited (ASX:SVL) (“Silver Mines” or “the Company”) is pleased to advise the appointment of Mr Keith Perrett as Non-Executive Chairman of Silver Mines. Mr Perrett has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 21[st] June 2016.
Mr Perrett has had a long involvement in agriculture as a producer and industry leader at local, state, national and international levels. He was formerly Chairman of the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), the National Rural Advisory Council (NRAC), the Wheat Research Foundation, and President of the Grains Council of Australia. Mr Perrett holds substantial agricultural interests in north-west New South Wales.
Mr Nathan Featherby has resigned as Chairman and Director of the Company to pursue other business interests. The board would like to thank Mr Featherby for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
