Directorate Update

SIG plc ("SIG" or "the Company") is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe, with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interior products and a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.

The Company announces that Meinie Oldersma, Chief Executive Officer, has taken leave of absence due to a family illness.  It is anticipated that Meinie will be absent for a number of weeks.

During his absence the SIG executive team, led by Nick Maddock, Chief Financial Officer, will continue to run the Group. Andrew Allner, non-executive Chairman, will provide increased levels of support to Nick and the executive team through this period.

A further announcement will be made as appropriate.
