On August 17, 2006, Sify Limited announced the Mr. Suri Venkat had been appointed as the Chief Opperating Officer of Sify. Prior to joining Sify, Mr. Venkat founded an infrastructure firm, and previously he was with the ITC group. Mr. Venkat is a graduate of Delhi University with an Honors Degree in Economics, and has a Masters in Human Resource Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
