Ad hoc-Service: SHS Informationssysteme english

Ad-hoc announcement precessed and sent by DGAP. The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– SHS almost tripled turnover-Analysts’ expectations fulfilled Munich, 12.02. 2001 – SHS Informationssysteme AG, doing business throughout Europe, can look back on an extremely successful fiscal year 2000. According to preliminary calculations, the IT consulting corporation will register a consolidated as-if-turnover of almost EURO 29 million. This is takes account of the full results of the POLAR acquisition. With this impressive figure, the original expectations of the analysts for fiscal year 2000 were exceeded by far. Thus SHS was able to almost triple its turnover compared to the previous year (EURO 10.5 million). The consolidated EBITDA in the as-if-calculation will amount to clearly over EURO 4 million. The exact figures will be made public at the press conference on the financial statement in Munich at March, 29th, 2001. The reasons for this clear increase can be found, apart from the expansion of relations to clients of long standing, particularly in the successful entry into the Spanish telecommunications market by the acquisition of the Polar Group in summer last year. Furthermore, the corporation listed in the Neuer Markt (Nemax), was able to consistently pursue its internationalization strategy with the foundation of an Italian subsidiary. SHS is thereby represented in the four largest European telecommunications markets, i.e. Germany, France, Italy and Spain and well-equipped for the UMTS era.
