Appointment of Finance Director

Shoe Zone PLC, a leading UK specialist value footwear retailer, today announces the appointment of Jonathan Fearn as Finance Director. Jonathan will take up his role on 25 July 2016.

Jonathan (aged 42) has extensive experience in strategic and commercial finance having worked for Celesio Group (UK) (formally LloydsPharmacy) since 2002. During this time, Jonathan has held a number of roles including Financial Controller - Pharmacy, Head of Strategic Analysis, Head of Strategic Finance and Head of Healthcare Services and Commercial Finance. More recently, Jonathan was Head of Region at LloydsPharmacy where he was responsible for retail operations of 235 stores and oversaw 11 area managers and over 2,000 employees. His most recent role was UK Integration Lead for Celesio Group (UK) where he was responsible for the integration of two UK based businesses acquired from United Drug Group plc. Jonathan will join the Company on 25 July 2016 and it is the intention that he will join the Board in due course.
