DIRECTOR DECLARATION

Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14R, Royal Dutch Shell plc (the "Company") confirms that Hans Wijers, a Non-executive Director of the Company, stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Akzo Nobel N.V. with effect from the close of business of its Annual General Meeting held yesterday .
