TRADING HALT

The securities of Sheffield Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday 24 August 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Sheffield Resources Limited ( ASX: SFX , “Company”) requests an immediate trading halt in respect of its securities.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, I advise that:

• a) The Company is seeking the trading halt pending the making of an announcement to the market in relation to an equity raising;

• b) The Company requests the trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of trading on 24 August 2016 or Sheffield making an announcement to the market concerning the equity raising; and
