CHANGE OF AGENT FOR THE SERVICE OF PROCESS IN HONG KONG

The board of directors (the " Board ") of CITIC Resources Holdings Limited (the " Company ") announces the resignation of Mr. Ma Ting Hung and the appointment of Mr. Sun Xinguo as the agent of the Company for accepting service of process and notices on behalf of the Company in Hong Kong under Part XI of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 32 of the Laws of Hong Kong) with effect from 1 January 2009.
