  • Key Facts Strong market share in the fast growing Composite Materials market and co-market leader in Europe for UD-orientated textile products and prepregs (for industrial applications) Advanced technology and modern equipment to provide high quality products for new applications such as Aerospace (Airbus qualified) strong growth demonstrated in recent years and active in attractive markets China and North America Synergies especially in production set-up and market access Background EPO GmbH (Willich) established 1995 Strong growth demonstrated in past years (> 15% p.a.) New production facility Sales ~ 20 €m (2006) The acquisition enhances SGL's market position and fits to SGL CFC Strategy
