Severstal Board of Directors re-elects Chairman and Senior Independent Director

PAO Severstal (MICEX-RTS: CHMF; LSE: SVST), one of the world's leading steel and steel-related mining companies, today announces the re-election of Alexey Mordashov as Chairman of the Board of Severstal and Veikko Sakari Tamminen as Senior Independent Director of the Board and Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board at the meeting of PAO Severstal's Board of Directors on 24 June 2016, following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders ("AGM").

Furthermore, Independent Non-Executive Director David Alun Bowen was re-elected Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board and Independent Director and Independent Non-Executive Director Philip John Dayer was re-elected Chairman of the Health, Safety and Environmental Committee of the Board at the meeting of PAO Severstal's Board of Directors on 24 June 2016.
