TOTAL COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED/SERVICE STREAM LIMITED - SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT TIMETABLE

On 27 July 2006, directors of Total Communications Infrastructure Group (ASX Code TCI) and Service Stream Limited (ASX Code STR) announced a merger of the two companies by way of a scheme of arrangement ("Scheme").

Under the Scheme, STR shareholders will receive 2 TCI shares for every 5 STR shares they own.

Today, Service Stream Limited announced that the Scheme has been approved by the Supreme Court of Victoria.

The indicative timetable for the Scheme is as follows.

	Second court hearing to approve the Scheme	Tuesday, 19 December 2006
	Effective date of the Scheme	Wednesday, 20 December 2006
	Last day of trading in shares of STR on ASX
	Commencement of trading in new TCI shares on ASX	Thursday, 21 December 2006
	on a deferred settlement basis (ASX Code: TCIN)
	Record date for determining entitlements to Scheme	Friday, 29 December 2006
	consideration (at 7.00pm)
	Implementation date of the Scheme	Thursday, 4 January 2006
	Despatch of holding statements to STR shareholders	Monday, 8 January 2006
	Deferred settlement trading in TCI shares ends
