Service Stream awarded new Business nbn™ Services agreement

Leading essential network services company Service Stream Limited (ASX: SSM) is pleased to announce that it has signed a new three-year agreement with NBN Co for the deployment of nbn ™ fibre infrastructure to support business services customers.

Under the agreement, Service Stream will provide design, construction and installation services to support the ‘on demand’ deployment of broadband infrastructure across selected business locations and multidwelling premises within the nbn ™ rollout footprint. Service Stream’s contract scope incorporates services being provided across Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Service Stream expects to commence the initial program of work in January 2019, building on the expertise and capability it has developed in successfully deploying fibre infrastructure for NBN Co under numerous programs and agreements in recent years.

Works under the new agreement will be provided in response to customer demand, and are expected to initially generate revenues of approximately $25 million per annum, with future growth anticipated as NBN Co expands its business services offering.
