Completion of Return of Capital and Share Consolidation

Leading essential network services company Service Stream Limited (ASX: SSM1) today announced that it has completed its Capital Management Initiative as announced to the market on 28 April 2016, and approved by shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 31 May 2016.

Payment of the Capital Return is being made today via direct credit for eligible resident Australian and New Zealand shareholders and via cheque for those shareholders who are not residents of Australia or New Zealand.

A total of approximately $19.3 million capital is being returned to shareholders with each shareholder being paid 5 cents per pre-consolidated share held as at the Record Date of 3 June 2016.

The Service Stream share register was updated on 6 June to implement the consolidation of shares whereby each ordinary share on the register on the Record Date of 3 June 2016 was converted to 0.9318 of a share (with fractional entitlements rounded up to the next whole number). Following completion of the consolidation, the total number of Service Stream shares on issue is 360,039,454 ordinary shares. Attached is an updated range of units report and top 20 holders.

All eligible shareholders were today dispatched a notice confirming the payment along with details of their shareholdings on a pre and post consolidation basis2.

Normal share trading resumes on the 14 June.
