Service Stream Announces Renewal of another NBN Co Contract
Service Stream is pleased to announce the renewal of its Field Services Delivery contract with NBN Co for home and business premises connections to the National Broadband Network (NBN). The renewal is for a two-year period with two one-year extension options.
Under this contract, Service Stream performs the physical cable connections between the street network and the outside of the buildings, and the installation of the NBN connection box and power supply units within the premises.
Service Stream will continue to perform these tasks across five states and territories - Victoria, NSW, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia.
Service Stream estimates that the work from this contract will generate revenue of approximately $140m across the initial two-year term.
Commenting on the contract renewal, Service Stream Managing Director, Leigh Mackender said: “We are pleased that NBN Co has renewed our contract as the roll out of the National Broadband Network gains momentum.”
