Greg Adcock to join Service Stream Board
Leading essential network services company Service Stream Limited (ASX: SSM) today announced that Mr Greg Adcock will join the Board as a non-executive Director, effective from 1 June 2016.
Mr Adcock’s most recent executive role was as Chief Operating Officer of nbn, where he led nbn’s network design and deployment activities. During his time at nbn, Mr Adcock is accredited with leading the successful rebuilding of the company’s delivery partner relationships, the stabilising and ramping up of the FTTP build program, the kick-start of the FTTN build and the launch of nbn’s first satellite.
Prior to joining nbn in late 2013, Mr Adcock was a 20-year veteran of Telstra and was the executive charged with delivering on Telstra’s infrastructure commitments under the ‘definitive agreement’ between nbn and Telstra. Mr Adcock was also a key member of the Telstra team that negotiated the deal to lease its pits and pipes and transfer its customers to nbn.
Commenting on Mr Adcock’s appointment, Service Stream Chairman, Brett Gallagher said: “ I am delighted that Greg has agreed to join our Board at this exciting time for the Company. Greg’s deep understanding of the Australian telecommunications sector and extensive experience as a senior executive within both nbn and Telstra makes him an excellent addition to the Board and I look forward to working with him .”
