Serneke to build 125 apartments for HSB Göteborg

Serneke has entered into a contracting agreement with HSB to build ten buildings with 125 tenant-owner apartments at Torpagatan in Björkekärr. The contract is valued at about SEK 275 million.

The 125 tenant-owner apartments that HSB is planning to build have between two and five rooms and a kitchen and are distributed between ten low-rise buildings. Their low height creates a smallscale atmosphere well-suited to the nature that surrounds the area.

"This is a long-awaited project among HSB's home savings members. The buildings will climb down the hillside, integrated into the natural surroundings in terms of both their design and color scheme. We at HSB are convinced that Torparterrasen will receive a warm reception," says Ida Sundstedt, Head of New Production at HSB Göteborg.

Serneke and HSB have now signed a turnkey contract totaling approximately SEK 275 million. The order amount will be included in the order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2017. Building permits have been granted and the sale of the apartments is underway. Construction is scheduled to commence in the beginning of December 2017.

According to plan, Brf Torpaterrass is scheduled for occupancy in the third quarter of 2020.
