As announced earlier today by DS Smith Plc, Rupert Soames, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Serco Group plc, will retire from the board of DS Smith Plc, where he is currently Senior Independent Director, following the conclusion of DS Smith Plc's annual general meeting on 6 September 2022. He will cease to be Senior Independent Director as from 28 February 2022.

This announcement is made in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14(R).
