Non-Executive Director Change
Serco Group plc ('Serco' or 'the Company'), the international service company, announces today that Angie Risley has notified the Board of her intention to stand down as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 15 September 2017. Angie joined the Board on 1 April 2011. Lynne Peacock will take on the role of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee from 15 September.
Sir Roy Gardner, Serco's Chairman, said: "I would like to thank Angie, on behalf of the Board and the Company, for all of her support and dedication in particular in relation to her excellent chairmanship of the Remuneration Committee and in helping to guide the Company through some difficult and turbulent times and we are grateful for her contribution. I am delighted that Lynne, with all of her considerable experience, has agreed to take up the Chair of the Remuneration Committee."
