Directors of fi nancial services company MDS Financial Group Ltd are pleased to announce that the company has received strong support for its recently closed rights issue from shareholders, with major shareholders taking up their full entitlements.

The one for one rights issue will raise more than $1 million.

Overseas shareholders who are not able to participate directly in the rights issue have indicated they will take up shares via the shortfall facility. Sophisticated and professional investors have also indicated their willingness to purchase shares via the shortfall.

The company expects to lodge details of the acceptances by no later than this coming Friday, July 11.
