RECEIPT OF NOTICE UNDER SECTION 249D OF THE CORPORATIONS ACT
Sequoia Financial Group Ltd (ASX:SEQ) ( Sequoia or the Company ) advises that it has received a request under section 249D of the Corporations Act (Cth) 2001 ( Corporations Act ) to call a general meeting of the Company ( Meeting ) for the purpose of removing one director from the board, and appointing one Director to the Board ( request ).
The request was made by shareholders controlling more than 5% of the votes that may be cast at a general meeting. The details of the requisitioning shareholders are outlined below.

The Company will be required to convene a Meeting pursuant to the Request and the Corporations Act within 21 days after the date on which the Request was received, and to convene the Meeting within 2 months from the date of receipt.
The proposed resolutions are that “Scott Beeton be removed as a director of the company forthwith” and that Kevin Pattinson be appointed as Director.
