APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS TO THE BOARD OF MDS FINANCIAL GROUP LIMITED

The Board of MDS Financial Group (ASX: MWS) announces today the appointments of Mr Richard Symon and Mr Damian Isbister as Executive Directors of the Company.

Richard Symon has been assisting the company as a consultant to integrate its recently acquired dealing capability, Trader Dealer Online, with MDS’ core businesses of Bourse Data, Market Analyser, CFD trading, research, education and financial news.

Richard’s most recent position was CEO of NSX Ltd (ASX:NSX) the operator of the National Stock Exchange, the Bendigo Stock Exchange, the Water Exchange and Victorian Taxi Market.

Prior to this Richard served in roles as Executive Director of the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association and full service stockbroker Prudential-Bache Securities.

Richard co-foundered and was CEO of Sharetrade Australian Stockbroking Ltd which was sold to PBL listed subsidiary eCorp and merged to bring Charles Schwab to Australia in 2000.

Richard is currently Chairman of Melbourne based Growth Markets Organisation (GMO) which is aligned with Growth Markets Services Ltd, registered in the UK. GMO has been established to elevate the profile of IPO output from and liquidity for stock exchanges around the world specialising in bringing growth companies to IPO.

Richard is a Fellow of Finsia and also Chairman of the Financial Services Foundation, a Melbourne based charity supporting children’s charities.

Damian Isbister has been involved in the financial markets since 1998 and held varying roles in the financial services sector having most recently completed 3 ½ years at the Cube Financial Group (which is now owned by the Company as a result of a merger in December 2006) in Sydney as an Investment Manager followed by 6 months as Chief Operating Officer for Noosa based Box Red Pty Ltd earlier this year.

Damian is a cofounder and director of the Company’s on line trading joint venture with BoxRed Pty Ltd, having been seconded as its Chief Operating Officer since its inception in April 2008 when MDSnews Global Pty Limited (“MDSnews Global”), a subsidiary of the Company entered into an agreement with Box Red Pty Limited as a joint venture for the purchase of certain intellectual property assets from Trader Dealer Pty Limited (Administrator Appointed), a subsidiary of the collapsed Opes Prime group.

MDSnews Global was renamed Trader Dealer Online Pty Limited (“Trader Dealer Online”), which allowed existing clients to recommence trading on 17 April 2008

Trader Dealer Online operates a discrete and personalised non-advisory execution Online or Phone broking service for retail, wholesale and institutional clients.

Damian was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company and relocated to Melbourne on 1 July 2008 and he will continue in this position.

In addition to the financial markets Damian has an excellent knowledge of the IT industry in particular web based services and has a particular interest in online media and marketing and brings a strong supply and distribution dynamic to the team.

Damian brings with him the skills that he has gained from experience advising companies in the mining, IT, financial services and consumable sectors both at Cube Financial and at Box Red Corporate and Media divisions.

The Company is pleased to have both Richard and Damian’s knowledge, experience and strategic relationships in financial services as directors. The company is undergoing significant re-positioning and the Board is determined to use the current market conditions to be strategically positioned for growth by providing an integrated solution for traders and investors in the equity market.
