(b) By letter dated October 17, 2005 to Kenneth Manning, Sensient’s Chairman and CEO, Alberto Fernandez resigned from the Board of Directors of Sensient Technologies Corporation. Mr. Fernandez’ letter stated that his decision to resign results from personal reasons and that he had enjoyed serving on the board. No executive officer of Sensient has any knowledge of a disagreement between Mr. Fernandez and Sensient relating to Sensient’s operations, policies or practices.
