Appointment of new non-executive Director

Senior plc ("Senior"), an international manufacturer of high-technology components and systems, with operations in 12 countries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Jeremiah, a US citizen, as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 January 2022.

Barbara has significant experience of engineering and industrial markets.  She is Chair Designate and Senior Independent Director of The Weir Group PLC, and had previously worked for over 30 years with Alcoa Inc, in a number of positions including Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Chairman's Counsel.  She was formerly Chairwoman of Boart Longyear Limited, a leading provider of drilling services and equipment, and was a non-executive Director of Aggreko plc, Premier Oil plc and Russel Metals Inc.

Barbara holds a BA in Political Science and is a qualified lawyer.

Senior plc Chairman, Ian King said: "We are very pleased that Barbara has agreed to join the Board.  Barbara's extensive experience in a number of Senior's key markets as an executive and a non-executive Director will complement those of the existing members of the Board and we look forward to working with her."
