Self Storage Group ASA - Acquisition of new property in Bodø, Norway

Self Storage Group ASA - Acquisition of new property in Bodø, Norway

(Oslo, 10 April 2019) Self Storage Group ASA (Self Storage Group, OSE:SSG) has entered into an agreement to acquire Sneveien 13 AS. Sneveien 13 AS is the owner of the property Sneveien 13 in Bodø, Norway. The transaction has a property value of NOK 11.6 million, with an estimated lettable area of 1000 square meters. The facility is projected to open during Q1 2020. Sneveien 13 will be operated under the OK Minilager brand.

“This acquisition is in line with our strategy to grow our freehold portfolio in selected markets. There is a growing demand for self-storage in Norway, as urbanization and smaller living spaces cause an increasing need for external storage solutions. Bodø is a city with a robust population growth and a limited supply of self-storage, says Martin Nes, Chairman of Self Storage Group.
