RETIREMENT OF CURT LEONARD

Leading Australian almond producer Select Harvests (ASX:SHV) today announces that Mr Curt Leonard has retired from the Board of Directors. His intention to retire was previously communicated when he retired as Chairman in October 2011.

Mr Leonard joined the Board of Select Harvests in July 2004 and was appointed Chairman in 2008.

Under his leadership the company navigated a period of significant transition in the Australian almond industry, ensuring a strategy was put in place to build the foundations which will secure the future success of Select Harvests.

Executive Chairman Michael Iwaniw said, “During his period as a Director and as Chairman of the Board Curt has applied his strong commercial acumen, skill and experience in steering the company through a period of significant and complex change. The platform is now in place for the company to take advantage of the strong fundamentals which underpin the global and Australian almond industry. On behalf of the Board, shareholders and employees of Select Harvests, I thank Curt for his dedication and commitment to the Company.”

The Board will announce a replacement for Mr Leonard in due course.
