THINK: Education Group completes acquisition of Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT)

THINK: Education Group Pty Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SEEK Limited (ASX: SEK) announces that it has completed the acquisition of the SSNT business. Founded in 1961, SSNT is a leading complementary medicine college in Victoria, offering Degree courses in Naturopathy, Myotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as vocational level programs .

This acquisition represents a further strengthening of THINK’s capability in the high growth health and wellness sector. It is also aligned with the previous stated strategy of geographic expansion and provides a new, strong presence for THINK in Melbourne.

Total consideration for the SSNT business is in the order of $2.5 million and the acquisition is expected to have negligible impact on SEEK EPS in FY10 and FY11.
