SEEK completes acquisition of 50% interest in Amadeus Education Holdings Pty Ltd

Further to our announcement on 8 October 2007, SEEK Limited (ASX: SEK) announces that it has finalized terms and conditions and completed the purchase of 50% of Amadeus.

Amadeus announced its first acquisition after the SEEK investment in the business. Amadeus has acquired the Jansen Newman Institute (JNI). Founded by Dr David Jansen and Margaret Newman in 1979, JNI is one of Sydney’s premier colleges offering undergraduate and post graduate degrees in the fields of counseling and psychotherapy. The Institute offers training and an extensive range of counseling and psychotherapy services at clinics in 11 locations around Sydney and Wollongong. The acquisition of JNI represents a strategic move by Amadeus into the high growth health and wellness sector. .
